Pork Sour Soup (Sinigang na Baboy)

Serves 4       Cooking time: 45mins to an hour
Ingredients:   1 lb spareribs or pork butt-2 inches in size
                    1 pkg. frozen tamarind or 5 squeezed medium lemon
                      Note: for tamarind-boil, mash then drain.Save the juice
                    1 ripe tomato or a can of diced/whole tomato            
                    1 chopped medium onion
                     fish sauce or salt. You may also use chicken cube
                    1 small daikon radish
                    3 pcs. jalapeno
                    1 cup long beans or 1 bundle on choy(kangkong)
                    1/2 cup taro

Directions:1) Boil meat in 3 cups water.
                2) Add tomatoes and onions. Boil and simmer for 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
                3) Pour in tamarind or lemon juice. Add radish,string beans and jalapeno.Boil for another 5 mins.
                4) Season with fish sauce or salt.Or you can use chicken cube
                5) Serve hot with rice or by itself. Enjoy!
